Web Security

SSL
Magic SSL is recommended only when needed, because it effects the Performance. It's is needed only when Magic Components are scattered around and not in the same Computer Zone (in terms of Firewall Security Zones). So if your requestor/broker/Magic application are scattered outside your firewall, then it is recommended to have the connection secured between Magic components. Magic SSL supports only Thawte,Verisign and Baltimore certificates formats. If you have created and assigned a certificate to a web site in IIS, your connection is secured to outside world. This HTTPS connection does not require any additional settings to be done for Magic components.

See Magic_v9_SSL.zip in the Files area of magicu-l at groups.yahoo.com for further instructions.
