How to get Magic Server running on Win2K3:

Right click "My Computer", and select "Manage".

Expand "Services and Applications".

Expand "Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager".

Expand "Web Service Extensions".

Click "Add a new Web Service Extension".

Fill "Extension Name" with something meaningful. I use "magic web requesters".

In the "Required files:" box, use the "Add" button to add the appropriate programs that you need. You can browse to the {magic}\scripts directory and select the mgrqispi94.dll file. You may also want to add the mgrqcgi94.exe file at the same time, if you think you will be using or testing with that requester.

BE SURE TO CHECK THE "Set extension status to Allowed" checkbox, then click "OK".

I'm pretty sure you don't have to restart the server or anything; but if there is any issue, you might try stopping/starting the IIS service or possibly rebooting the computer.

NOTE: If you have more than one version of magic, you will need to add all of the appropriate mgrqispi9x.dll files that you want the IIS server to run.

Hope this helps.
